North Mississippi Center for Higher Educational Advancement, Inc., (NMCHEA) with headquarters located in West Point, Mississippi, is a supplier of training programs and services. The company is a non-profit corporation. Dr. Henry L. Berry and others founded the company in 1968 as a consulting firm. Today the company provides training for all organizational levels. NMCHEA specializes in the administration, management, and evaluation process of educational institutions, community-based organizations, and private sector businesses. Through its management institute, NMCHEA offers strategic consulting services for organizational change initiatives.
The goal of the "Managing Together Institute" is to provide staff development programs and technical assistance to these entities. The programs are designed to:
Self Development of People At North Mississippi Center for Higher Educational Advancement, we develop people, evaluate and disseminate programs to businesses, community-based agencies, elementary, postsecondary, and secondary institutions. These programs foster individuals' ethical, social, intellectual, economic and political development. Additionally, these programs nurture individuals' capacity to think skillfully, critically and to do for themselves.
We also strive to empower individuals' commitment to economic and political power. To promote social values such as kindness, helpfulness, personal responsibility, and respect for others. These qualities we believe are essential to leading humane and productive lives in a democratic society. |
